Meet the Chef
Courtney E. Woolslayer is a local, professionally trained Chef, who grew up eating Chardonnay grapes and swimming in Deb and Rich’s pool. While she does share the family resemblance and genes, Courtney decided late in her education to follow the path already taken by her cousins, the Frasers. In the summer of 2021, in accordance with her Culinary Institute of America Bachelor’s Degree, Courtney spent a semester in Napa Valley, California studying Advanced knowledge in Wine and Beverage Service. As she graduated and spent time in the industry in various positions, Courtney has in fact come home (three doors down is close enough) and begun her career as a Private Events Chef. Self described style “somewhere between rustic and high-end”, perfectly encapsulates her vision as a chef. Sourcing her ingredients as close to home as possible, Courtney is a Chef that deeply cares about the environmental impact of Locavorism and sustainability. She is excited to add her name to the family legacy alongside the Wycombe Vineyard.
Courtney Woolslayer graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in December of 2021 with a Bachelors of Professional Arts in Culinary and Business Management with a specialization in Advanced Wine, Beverage and Hospitality. She recently claimed her Introductory Sommelier status in March of 2023 from the Court of Master Sommeliers.
